This bill is scheduled to be before the House Committee on Rules on Monday, October 17, 2005.

S.397 Title: A bill to prohibit civil liability actions from being brought or continued against manufacturers, distributors, dealers, or importers of firearms or ammunition for damages, injunctive or other relief resulting from the misuse of their products by others.

It is critical that you contact your U.S. Representative and urge him/her to pass S. 397 (as passed by the Senate) in the U.S. House. It's time to put a stop to these meritless, reckless lawsuits once and for all.
