Welcome

2nd Amendment:  A well-regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.  OUR MISSION.

Welcome to Louisiana...

We here in the beautiful bayou state enjoy a freedom when it comes to gun-ownership and gun-rights that is not known in many states in our Nation.  In my conversations with women (and men) in various parts of the state I sense a complacency and a feeling among fellow gun-owners that the problems visited on other states by anti-gun groups is "somewhere out there" and really doesn't concern us here in Louisiana.  Louisiana has been blessed in recent years with an administration that is fervently pro-gun, and we have assumed it will always be that way.  After all, we're the "Sportsmen's Paradise", right?

Wrong!!  There are powerful factions within our state that would see Louisiana's liberal gun-rights laws overturned.  One group in New Orleans mounted the first ever campaign to hold firearms manufacturers liable for deaths caused by criminals and thugs bent on mayhem in our state.  Thank God the wisdom of our Louisiana Supreme Court ruled in the favor of law-abiding gun owners............this time!!!

We cannot afford to lull ourselves into thinking the fight is over.  Sarah Brady and her group of anti-gunners are becoming more and more vocal in their efforts.   A leader of the now-defunct, so called "Million Mom March" recently  lied in a speech to the United Nations Conference on Small Arms claiming that "40 people in 40 minutes were killed in this country by gunfire".    She also called President Bush, our elected leader, a "minority government".  Those lies are now a part of international records.

Adolph Hitler said, "If you tell a lie often enough, it becomes truth."  Too many of our citizens believe what they hear on prime-time news rather than take the time to research the truth for themselves.   We invite you to become a member of our organization and join in our battle to keep the TRUTH before the people of our state.  We cannot afford to sit by any longer and pretend that the forces that would leave us defenseless are not at our doorstep.  My personal commitment is to do whatever is in my power to assure that my daughter and granddaughters will be able to defend themselves with firearms.  Will you join our movement?
