In November SAS held a Thank You Pot Luck dinner for all the men and women from the Braintree Rifle and Pistol Club and the Boston Gun and Rifle Association who have volunteered to help us over the years.

SAS members did an amazing job of cooking their best pot luck items and set up an incredible feast!

To acknowledge and celebrate our volunteers, we obtained   discount certificates good at Four Seasons Firearms, a local firearm store, coupled with gift cards to Dunkin Donuts.  We had over 20 volunteers to whom we wanted to receive these cards and say “Thank You.”

The support SAS has received over the years from these volunteers is priceless!  How can you sufficiently say “thank you” to people who consistently give and give and give?  The certificates we presented to our friends were, of course,  just  token symbols hoping to let them know how much we appreciate their generosity and support.

SAS of MA also acknowledged some of our own SAS volunteers and gave frameable appreciation certificates to Donna Major, Nicole, Jackie Scott, Evelyn Freeman, Sybilla Freeman, Nancy Huntley, Tammy Texiera, Marie Alfred, Kathy Driscoll, Rebecca Egan, Jodi Shair and sent acknowledgements to the local merchants who have supported us year to year.   A special thank you also went to David Harbison and Dan Holloway from Mass. Wildlife and Fisheries for their expert assistance in archery.

The food was incredible; the company even better and we hope to make this an annual event!!
