Warning: Newspapers will not print letters which are anonymous, carbon copied to third parties or other newspapers at the same time. The only way to get printed is to send a letter to one paper at a time, and include your full name, home address, day and evening telephone numbers for verification. Most newspapers want submissions limited to 150 words to 200 words or so. Long essays or letters containing insults or personal attacks rarely get printed. Letters are subject to editing and become the property of the newspapers.
