Women's Month Event

Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University


On March 28, 2005 Sandy Eisner, the Virginia state coordinator of Second Amendment Sisters, spoke at Virginia Tech about women and self-defense with a handgun. Some of the topics were:


• Why a handgun? Why not pepper spray, etc.


• Handgun safety. Finger off the trigger, point in a safe direction,etc.


• Determining what to get. Pistol, revolver, reason


• Concealed/open carry. Virginia is a Shall-Issue state.


Other speakers were Debbie Morgan of the VT police and Nicki Fellenzer of keepandbarearms.com.
